URBAN-FEEDBACK VERNISSAGEUrban art is everywhere. More and more we see media, their products and design in general inspired by this still young and new Artform. Experiencing graffiti and street-art since many years ourselfs we believe that this artform has not yet earnedthe appropriate recognition it deserves. We wanted to give this controversial art an opportunity to claim it‘shigh artistic integrity.
The exhibition wants to show all people, walking, moving, and living in a urban landscape a different perspective for streetart. The basic ambition of the project is to demonstrate the meaning and benefit of this artform for the general public. We want to highlight the phenomenon streetart and illustrate its beauty and variety. We also want to encourage the visitor to think about ownership of public space. Who owns the public space? Who is allowed to shape and arrange it? Advertisements and political propaganda material are the eye-cathing marks of urban landscapes in our time.
